Completion of the odor removal project for broiler breeding waste gas in Building 12 of Tai’an Zhongchuang Livestock and Poultry Farm

As the summer temperature increases. The hot temperature has also gradually highlighted the issue of foul odor in chicken farms. Affected the air quality of surrounding villages, in accordance with the requirements of Lufeng Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Development Co., Ltd. in Tai’an City, a plan was developed after multiple on-site investigations. After a month of intensive construction, the installation and commissioning of the Wusen 5S exhaust gas purification and deodorization system were completed last week.

In the crowdsourced livestock and poultry breeding project, the exhaust gas from the chicken coop is sent to the water washing wall through a fan, and a spray device is installed in front of the water washing wall. After spraying, the humidity of the exhaust gas increases, forming a gas-liquid mixture. Part of the ammonia and dust are adsorbed by the water mist and settle into the water storage tank with the water flow.

In the water storage tank, hydrogen sulfide and ammonia gas are captured by biological bacteria attached to the surface of the deodorization module, and are decomposed and absorbed, thereby purifying the waste gas from the chicken house. To ensure the activity of biological bacteria, the water storage tank is equipped with pH and LF detection equipment, and the system can automatically adjust the acidity, alkalinity, spraying amount, water replenishment amount, etc. in a timely manner to ensure that the biological bacteria are in the optimal activity state.
During the acceptance process, the manager in charge of environmental protection in the factory area, together with technical personnel, carried out the acceptance of spray deodorization equipment and the verification of deodorization effect in the external area of the breeding farm. They praised the effectiveness of the issued technical plan, spray system, and deodorant. Currently, the odor environment around the factory boundary has been greatly improved.
Improving the odor of chicken farms is actually not difficult. The correct use of stable equipment and high-quality microbial deodorants can immediately have an efficient deodorization and ammonia reduction effect, improve the air environment quality of chicken farms and the surrounding area of the factory, and make the odor concentration at the factory boundary meet the environmental impact assessment standards. In the best case, it can achieve zero complaint of chicken farm odor.
